Superyachts meet at Port Hercules, Monaco
THE playground of the super-rich, the Principality of Monaco, will once again host the Monaco Yacht Show, an annual trade show where custom-built superyachts from the world over gather at the country’s emblematic Port Hercules.
This year’s gathering, the 28th instalment of the MYS, to be held from Sept 26 -29, will welcome more than 120 superyachts and their owners.
Visitors, potential buyers, and charter clients will be able to take tours, conduct business and engage in the superyacht lifestyle activities of the MYS.
Private superyacht clients invited by MYS exhibitors and organisers can avail themselves of a tailor-made programme of visits to specific yachts.
There’s also the Sapphire Experience, which offers exclusive services for guests, so that those new to the world of luxury yachting can get the most out of the event. The Sapphire Experience includes participation in the third edition of the Monaco Yacht Summit and an invitation to the Opening Ceremony.
This year, forty of the yachts to be showcased are brand-new designs, ready to be unveiled at MYS by leading shipyards.
With the recent restructuring of the Quai des États-Unis, naval architects, shipyards and brokers will now be on the quays, right next to their yachts on display in the water. Future owners will now also be able to participate on a more personal basis in the building of their yachts.
Exhibition tents will feature the latest in hi-tech equipment, luxury furnishings and objects. The various quays are devoted to highlighting specifics.
The Quai Jarlan: Display of luxury tenders, yacht tenders and nautical leisure accessories, which will, this year, occupy more space on the Quai Antoine Ier.
The Car Deck: An exhibition of brand new prestige vehicles — tailor-made luxury cars, hypercars and customised models.
Starboard: A lounge exhibiting hand-picked companies specialising in the superyacht art of life; here visitors will find another offical MYS restaurant, business and Press centre.
The 590 exhibitors present in Monaco will cover the entire range of specialties required to build a yacht from A to Z. Downloading the Monaco Yacht Show app will make it easier for visitors and potential purchasers to move around to the exhibitor booths and yachts.
